| What happened | The Boys and Girls Clubs of America has joined the fight against childhood obesity, a condition that puts kids at risk for serious health problems including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. On Saturday, September 27, 2008 as part of the ServiceNation Day of Action, volunteers will engage local children in field day activities to promote healthy, active lifestyles. Our goal is not only ensure that the kids have a great time, but also to help to send a powerful message about the importance of service. |
