As you know, we’ve been hard at work on our Day of Action. It’s going to be September 27, and there’s going to be events all over the country. As of today, we’ve got 47 confirmed events!
Is there one near you? You can look here to try and find one in your area and sign up on the webste. If not, you should definitely consider organizing one yourself. Does that sound intimidating? It’s not. We’ve got an event toolkit, and there’s going to be a new version, with a ton of multimedia ideas, uploaded soon. It doesn’t have to be formal or intense - you can, for example, have a Teach for America alum speak, or help clean up a local forest preserve. Whatever your idea, it can happen. If you need help, just let us know. It’s going to be an amazing day - and we can all be a part of it.
