It seems like everyone ever was at Personal Democracy Forum (PDF 2008). The event focused on the changing nature of communication, politics, and journalism, and how people use the tools available. Our very own Tim was there, and hopefully he’ll give us some additional insight. In the mean time, the best liveblog of the event I’ve seen is from Make Something Happen. It covers the event without giving me every little instance, and is very readable.
It sounds like the conference went pretty well - although I wasn’t there, even just reading through blogs of the event are giving me valuable information. A lot of things about internet marketing, communication, and networks, as well as best practices and new ideas.
Here’s the event’s blog, with notes from some of the speakers. Worth checking out!

Thanks, Kate. It did indeed seem like everyone ever was there. A very fun, thought-provoking, and informative couple days.
One interesting thing to do - though it’s a bit harder without the context of being there - is to check out Summize.com and look at the tag #pdf2008. It “summize’s” all the twitters from people throughout the conference that tagged their tweets “#pdf2008.”
Many good quotes from the speakers and nuggets/thoughts from participants.

Thanks for the tip - I’ve gone through some of the tweets, but haven’t checked summize!

What a fabulous thing to say. Thank you so much.
We’ll be at Netroots Nation as well. Will you have any representation there?
Again, thank you. We’ll be watching from our corner of the web,
Alex
